AN INTERVIEW WITH A SELF-PUBLISHING EXPERT
In this episode you’ll meet Dave Chesson, my friend otherwise known as The Kindlepreneur. He’s an expert on anything Amazon/Kindle related. Check out his podcast if you’re thinking about self-publishing.
Hi Jerry - wow, I'm glad you love my stuff and totally makes my day to hear the the "qualified" part. As for the interview, I can honestly say that Katie is probably one of my top 5 friends in the business. She actually worked with me back when no one else would give me the time (before Kindlepreneur finally found its roots). Which is why we discussed that - a key thing to note and something that I keep dear to my heart is: you NEVER know where someone will end up when given the chance. I remember when I was just starting out, I'd email people and ask questions, and never get a response (or worse - a price quote). I get that and I don't blame them since everyone's time is important, but it's one of the sole reasons why to this day I answer every email.
So, I apologize we were a bit candid in this but it really felt good to be here and chat with her. If you need anything, or there is something I can help with, reach me at my contact page or my Kindlepreneur email.
Jerry, I'm glad you said this so I can clear something up. It never occurred to me that joking around would come off like that! In fact, what I intended was to make ME look foolish for not having friend such an amazing guy! It's something Dave and I have laughed a lot about ever since we became friends. I agree, Dave's amazing, and I'm so happy he is in my life, and was persistent in his "friending" me on Facebook. Thanks for listening, and I hope I'll be able to win you over in the future. (And please do unsubscribe if you no longer want to hear from us.)
I got your email that you were bringing Dave Chasson on as a guest to your podcast. He is one of the most highly qualified marketers and just a super nice guy. I listen to his podcasts almost daily and was looking forward to hearing him speak on the subject of writing for children.
I was surprised that you spend the time bragging about how you allowed him to be friended on your facebook, let him start speaking, ask him a question, only to abruptly cut him off and end the podcast.
I don't know what grudge you have against him that you would pull that humiliatng stunt publically on him. It was not only horribly rude to Dave but also to me, as a new listener. It said a lot to me about who you are.
Please remove me from your email list.
