Writing for Magazines
A shorter version of the Writing for Children and Teens course, designed to guide in the planning, writing, and revision of at least one manuscript (fiction or nonfiction) suitable for submission to a current children’s publication. Define personal writing goals and learn the basic techniques of writing fiction and nonfiction required by today’s magazine editors. Do I need prior experience?
No. The Institute’s basic courses do not require prior training or experience. We begin with writing basics and progress to the more advanced techniques. Our coursework is designed to develop skills through mastery of writing techniques in straightforward, carefully planned assignments.
